it's here! it's here!
Spring has sprung! My little crocuses look happy to see me and it is therefore time to shake off the shoes and bring the toenails out of hibernation. A pedicure with my pfriend was just the thing. Thanks p! Now I know it will (not might but will) snow again before May. But that's okay because there is hope of sunshine and warm sidewalks and that makes me happy. So here's a call to all you ladies--if you haven't already, break out the OPI and get on it.
And if you still doubt that there is hope on the horizon, even after seeing my fab toes, just ask this bee.
And what's with my fall banner? What happened to Halloween, Christmas and Valentines? Where's my blog administrator? Don't I get a cute springy banner?

Yeah! Get that live-in slave up to a new banner!
I gave myself a pedi two weeks ago. It's time to start dreaming of my open-toed shoes.
What fine looking toes you have there.
Very picturesque with the lovely crocus in the background.
Who is this pfriend?? She sounds so cool.
tee hee hee
Do I have to paint my toenails as well? Cause I'm sure that would ruin Spring for everyone
you have great toes! mine are all weird looking. But this post does make me want to get some OPI which gives me an excuse to buy some more shoes!
why thank you, becks and pflower. I love that my feet have stayed thin, despite my upper thighs' decisions!
And my pfriend isn't just cool, she's awesome!
Lyle, you may paint your toes, as long as you wear socks with all your sandals.
azucar, I can't wait to see your open-toed shoes! With cute toes, of course.
Oh, and btw, now I have a new problem. I love the color on my toes, but don't remember the name of it. Is it bad form to go back to the nail salon and find out, then by my own polish? I need help with proper salon etiquette.
The only way I can think of to find out the color without offending anyone is that you tell them one of your toes got cut off and that the doctors need to know the color to reattach it correctly. You'll probably lose a toe, but you'll have gained a friend.
I have to agree with becks about Karlsven toes and their weirdness. I think Dave could pick up an orange using only his right foot toes.
You make it sound like the doctors have a toe bin that they must sort through to find the matching color. It sounds disturbing and yet, I would love to rummage through that bin. Maybe find a couple spares.
Lo, I adore your toes! Where do you go for pedicures? I want those flowery things on mine!
Ew, Guy. A bin of toes? Ew. It makes me laugh, and then I'm ashamed I found it funny. I say again: Ew.
Lo,
You know they sell the OPI colors there. I don't think they'll mind at all!
If you want I'll go with you, I need to go to the mall and see if there are any new kiosks anyway.

BIN OF TOES????
SPARE TOES????
OH GUY, you need to paint us a picture of what you see in your bin of TOES!!!!
Once again, Lorien is the most beautiful... right down to your toes.
Love the artwork, by the way...on the toes at least. But the banner could use some help. (Is it poor form to jump on the "make me a new banner, Guy" bandwagon? Is it poor form to offer you an extra toe from my freezer to support your efforts?)
Spring? What's this spring you speak of? Yesterday as I stepped out the door to walk to school, I was greeted by 25 degrees of below zero wind. I know nothing of spring, nor its whereabouts.
Too bad you're not here to experience this delightful weather, dally. Today I lay on the lawn barefoot and pink-toed (albeit in long pants and sleeves) and read Anne of Green Gables while I watched my daughter and her friend paint their toes. It was positively glorious.
oh, Melody. You nurses and your extra body parts!
My sentiments exactly!
(about the great pedi and the spring thing--not about the body parts)
I know how you can get yourself a new banner. But I'm not allowed to say it--this is a family blog.
I want to see the doughnuts.
randaredevil, it was Pro Nails in University Mall. The one by coldstone.
julie, I can't figure out how to get the flippin donuts off my cell phone camera. I have a couple of bloggable pics on there and I don't know how to do it. grrr. can't get my tech guy to do my banner OR retrieve critical photos off my phone. something must be done...
